Kerry graduated from the New South Wales State Conservatory of Music in Sydney, Australia in 1987 with a B Music Ed. She trained in Eurhythmics (Dalcroze method of teaching music using movement).

Kerry has specialised training in Kodaly for very young children and has been teaching ages 18 months to 7 years for the last 4 years in the Wicklow School of Music & Drama.

Kerry also teaches voice coaching and recorder to all ages and can teach piano to beginners.
